Scouting Report:
Over-the-top thrower who mostly features an 84-88 MPH sinking fastball
to generate groundballs. Sinker is at its best down around the knees and
is difficult for the hitter to elevate when down in the strike zone.
Tends to flatten out at the thighs and above. Only average command of
the pitch. Shows inconsistencies finishing out of his delivery to
maintain arm slot. Mixes in an 81-83 MPH late breaking slider away from
right-handed batters or in on left-handed batters hands. Also utilizes a
80-82 MPH changeup that shows tumble down through the strike zone, but
not a lot of separation between sinker and has a similar look. Fringe
reliever potential.
