Scouting Report: After undergoing Tommy John Surgery in 2005, Cherry was converted from a starter to a reliever.  Cherry has an impressive 91-95 mph fastball that tops out at 97 mph. Struggles with control and consistency.  He also has a plus 80s slider, as well as a below average changeup that he doesn't use all that often.  When his control is on, Cherry can flash some dominant stuff.   Induces a lot of groundballs.
