Scouting Report: Small frame, but muscular build. Well-filled out lower body and strong core. Compact swing. Generates plus batspeed, with a quick load and strong hands. Level swing path. Average power potential. Ability to pull balls hard into the gap to produce doubles. Approach needs refinement. Tends to chase elevated fastballs and struggle with balls on outside third. Swing needs work producing more plate coverage. Struggles driving balls to the opposite field. Solid-average hit tool, but swings and misses too much presently. Slightly above-average speed. Fundamentally sound defender with a solid-average arm. Soft glove. Average range. Controls body well. Improving footwork around the bag turning double plays. Will have to watch body developing too much bulk muscle. Ceiling of an everyday regular at the major league level.
