Scouting Report: Fantastic athlete - Dent has quick wrists and very good speed.  Built like a running back. Good leadoff or #2 potential.  With his compact swing, he hits the ball well to all fields and is a superb base runner.  Good strength for his size and speed.  Likely better suited for 2B, but has the range to play CF.  In the field, Dent has an average arm and excellent range, but his glove and his instincts may keep him from being a SS long-term. While Dent possesses great tools, he is a little more raw than a lot of others in his HS draft class.
