Physical Description: Starter’s build. Has filled out considerably since he entered the organization and is now close to maxed out, especially in his lower half. Soft body.  

Mechanics: Over-the-top delivery.  

Fastball: 90-93 mph. Tops out at 95 mph. Average potential. Struggles to hold velocity deep into outings starting out 91-93 mph, but ending 89-91 mph. Throws strikes. Fringe-average command.  

Changeup: 77-79 mph. Average potential. Inconsistent, but shows occasional late vertical drop. Can be on the firm side and straight.  

Slider: Average potential, became primary breaking ball in 2014.  

Summation: Potential number five starter or swingman type. Pedestrian three pitch arsenal that lacks a true plus pitch. Throws strikes, knows how to pitch.
