Scouting Report: Dobies is a fierce competitor with a nice delivery.  Fastball hits the mid-to-high 80s with decent movement, which is varied by an excellent changeup and a decent slider.  Also throws a low 80s cut fastball that he added in 2006 and considers his best pitch.  Average to above average control. Converted to a reliever in 2007, and after a brief adjustment period he did demonstrate some success out of the pen.  Pitches only slightly better against lefties, thus he's probably not a lefty specialist candidate.  Missed entire 2008 season with arm problems.
