Scouting Report: Egan has great raw tools all around but has yet to put it all together.  Big power potential for a catcher.  Improving plate discipline.  Very inconsistent with his contact - isn't getting the bat on the ball enough.   His catching tools were originally called into question, but he has impressed with his arm and his glove and will likely remain at catcher, and there's still room and ability for improvement.  Struggled with back problems for much of the 2007 season.
