  Scouting Report & Links

Physical Description: Lanky frame with some remaining projection. On the thin side, needs to add strength.

Hit: Starts slightly open with his hands high. Toe tap timing device. Short, compact swing. Below-average bat speed. Knows the strike zone and will take a walk and work the count. Potential below-average hit tool. Struggles against breaking balls.

Power: Not a major part of his game. Lacks strength and swing is not designed to drive the ball. Well below-average power.

Run: Plus-plus speed. Good baserunning instincts.

Field: Plus defensive profile. Soft hands and fluid actions. Played second base at the end of his college career, and has primarily played second base and shortstop in pro ball, but has also seen time in center field and at third base.
  Arm: Average arm strength.

Career Notes: Played limited time for Falmouth in the Cape League in 2021. Traded to Boston with Eric Hosmer and Corey Rosier for Jay Groome in August 2022. Called up to Triple-A Worcester on an emergency basis in June 2023. Suffered ankle injury running into an outfield wall in April 2024, missed extended time.

Summation: Potential solid organizational player. Ceiling of an up-and-down utility player. Speed and defense give him a chance even if his bat develops slowly. Still will need to hit at least a little in order to reach the majors.
