Scouting Report: Smooth mechanics with a projectable frame. Very young for his draft class, but shows a lot of maturity and poise for his age. Fast learner, takes coaching well. Features a 91-93 mph fastball, with downward finish. Improving command and feel. Has trouble spotting pitch arm-side. Potential to add velocity as he physically matures. Leans on an 80-83 mph slider to finish batters off. Shows excellent depth at times and late, hard break. Demonstrates good feel of the offering. Plus potential. Currently developing a changeup. Comes in at 84-85 mph, without much drop. Uses infrequently in game situations. Type of arm that can make strong strides with maturation into his early twenties.
