Scouting Report: Thin Venezuelan shortstop signed in the early 2007 international signing period. Very good defensive player. With the bat, Garcia has a nice looking swing, but his approach is raw - needs work on pitch recognition and doesn't seem comfortable against advanced pitching. However, he has played well above his age scale early in his career. He has a slight frame, likely will not add much power down the line.
