Scouting Report: Hernandez has played at age-advanced levels throughout his career, and his tools have been highly regarded in many scouting circles along the way. Fastball sits in the low-90s and tops out at 94 mph. Excellent-but-inconsistent curveball. Average-to-above-average changeup with decent movement. Good control. Able to go deep into games.  Has had confidence issues in recent years, and tends to get rattled easily. Lacks aggressiveness, nibbles on the corners too much.
