Scouting Report: Venezuelan lefty impressed in the DSL in 2008 demonstrating exceptional control and decent strikeout numbers. Began the 2008 season in the rotation as a spot starter and ended the season in a long-relief role, essentially a piggyback starter. Still finished the season with the third most innings pitched on the team. Had better success as a true starter. Missed the 2010 season with an injury.
