Scouting Report: Former top prospect who has struggled with mechanical and control issues throughout his career. Large frame. Relies heavily on his low-90s fastball, which can get up to the mid-90s. Also throws a low-80s slider, and in the past, has thrown a low-to-mid 80s changeup. Subpar command. Good groundball rates. Works equally well against lefties and righties. Has the potential to be a top-tier reliever if he hones his command.
