Physical Description: Short, stocky frame. Thick lower half. No remaining projection.

Hit: Starts square. Short, compact swing. Strong contact skills. Puts the ball in play, doesn’t elevate the ball. All fields approach, good pitch recognition. Will take a walk, rarely extends zone.

Power: No over the fence power potential. Not a part of his game.

Arm: Average arm strength.

Field: Potential above-average defender. Defensive tools profile at all infield positions save for first base. Will do the job at any position. Soft hands, strong instincts. Fluid in the field.

Run: Average speed. Speed plays up due to strong instincts.

Career Notes: League MVP in high school. Also played quarterback where he was the team MVP.  Spent three seasons at Texas State.
 
Summation: Potential organizational infield type. Has contact skills and defensive versatility to carry him through the minors, but lacks any major league quality carrying tool. Type of player who you would feel comfortable putting at any level if necessary and will do a professional job in the field and make contact and take a walk at the plate. Doesn’t have a high ceiling, but useful player to have in the system.
