Scouting Report: Lightning-fast center fielder. Converted from 2B in 2008. Pichardo hits from a closed stance in a crouch. He's a slap hitter from both sides of the plate. He can hit for average, but not much power. His extra base hits will come because of his wheels. Needs to work on his bunting skills. In the field, Pichardo gets good jumps, has excellent range, and an average arm. He has the makings of fifth outfielder/pinch runner/nine hole hitter at the major league level. Suffered a bad hamstring injury at the end of the 2008 season, but came back at full speed for the start of the 2009 Spinners.
