  Scouting Report & Links      
         
  Physical Description: Smaller, athletic frame. Minimal projection.

Hit: Starts open and in a crouch. Simple swing mechanics and short, compact swing. Strong bat-to-ball skills. Rarely swings and misses. Advanced approach and pitch recognition.

Power: Not a major part of his game. Swing is not designed for power. Fringe-average raw power at best and game power is below that.

Run: Fringe-average speed. Unclear how his speed will play when he comes back from his knee injury.

Field: Solid actions and feel in the field. Instinctual player who has a reliable glove.


   Arm: Fringe-average arm strength. Profiles best at second base.

Career Notes: Tore his ACL 12 games into the 2023 season and missed the rest of the year. Was named to the Horizon League All-Freshman Team and the Horizon League All-Tournament Team in 2022. Started the 2024 season on the 60-day IL.

Summation: Intriguing bat-to-ball skills and approach. Power limits upside, but has the contact skills teams look for these days. Likely moves to second base eventually, but likely will be initially developed as a shortstop.
