Physical Description:
Athletic, undersized frame. Twitchy. Minimal remaining
projection.
Hit: Starts slightly open in
a crouch with hands high. Short, compact slappy swing. Does not
really incorporate his lower half in his swing. Solid contact
skills. Knows the strike zone and uses all fields. Makes a lot
of contact on the ground. Potential average hit tool.
Power: Swing is not designed for power. Does
not consistently lift the ball. Well below-average power
potential.
Run: Plus-plus speed. Strong
baserunning instincts.
Field: Solid
range. Played center field in the year he was drafted, but has
played primarily corner outfield since. Average instincts and
inconsistent with his reads. Profiles best in left field.
Potential fringe-average defender.

Arm: Average arm strength. Fits best in left
field, but passable in right field.
Career Notes:
Played two seasons with Chipola JC before transferring to UNC
Greensboro. Drafted by Seattle in 2021, was traded to San Diego
with Ray Kerr for Adam Frazier in November 2021. Was acquired
from San Diego with Eric Hosmer and Max Ferguson for Jay Groome
in August 2022. Selected to participate in the Arizona Fall
League in 2023.
Summation: Projects as a
solid organizational player. Ceiling of an emergency utility
player. Has some tools including speed and solid contact skills
that are emphasized after the 2023 rules changes in MLB. Solid
makeup. Works hard and vocally supports his teammates. On his
way back to the dugout after hitting will often talk through
what he saw with the hitter on deck. Will get the most out of
his tools.
