Scouting Report: Small-framed right-hander has a mid-90s fastball that can reach 97 mph, but his velocity this season was very inconsistent from appearance to appearance, perhaps due to a focus on fixing his mechanics. Dropped into the 80s at times. Below-average command and control. Slider/cutter is his best secondary pitch and flashes plus at times.  Also throws a developing changeup. Overall, regressed as the 2014 season went on. Excellent athlete. Also played shortstop at Missouri as a freshman before committing to pitching full-time after transferring to a junior college in 2012.
