Physical Description:
Small frame without remaining projection.
Hit:
Agressive approach. Doesn't strike out too much. Takes advantage
of mistake pitches. Following a swing change in 2017, has been
able to impact the baseball more than one would expect for his
size.
Power: Has shown average to
better power at times, but projects to put up fringe-average
power production at the major league level.
Run:
Fringe-average speed. Not incredibly athletic.
Field: Has mostly played second base throughout his pro
career, but has also seen time at third base and corner
outfield. Adequate defender.
Arm: Solid
arm for second base and left field. Not ideal for third base or
right field. |

Career Notes:
Spent seven seasons in the Arizona system, having been
considered a top 30 prospect in the organization for a few
years. Released during the COVID year, then played indy ball.
Spent most of 2021 to 2023 in Triple-A, where he showed some
flashes of success but did not get a major league opportunity.
Signed with Boston in December 2023 and was invited to 2024 MLB
Spring Training.
Summation:
Potential up-and-down utility player. Gamer with a high baseball
IQ. Offensively, most of his damage is done off mistake pitches,
which he would seemingly see a lot less of at the MLB level.
