Scouting Report: Lanky righty with a projectable frame. Room to pack on more weight. Fastball sits between 90-92 mph and tops out at 94 mph. Shows late life and finish when throwing downhill. Tends to leave the ball up in the zone. Below-average command and control of fastball. Unable to spot pitch consistently. Also features a 74-76 mph curveball and an 83-84 mph changeup. Curve has plus potential, but it's inconsistent with creating hard snap. Can show deep 12/6 break through the strike zone at times. Does not trust throwing it. Changeup grades as his best offering. Fades arm-side with drop when throwing from an over-the-top arm slot. Below-average command of secondary stuff. Delivery is rigid and stiff. Struggles to consistently repeat motion and hold release point due to jerky nature of arm action behind his back. Delivery needs considerable refinement to enhance command of arsenal, crispness of offerings, and take stress off his arm. Slow to home plate. Competitive and focused, but reserved on the mound. Profiles as a reliever in higher levels.
