  Scouting Report & Links      
         
  Physical Description: Thick, durable frame. Fully filled out. Solid lower half.

Mechanics: Throws from a three-quarters arm slot, starting on the first base side of the rubber. Medium leg kick. Quick arm. Gets excellent torque.

Fastball: 95-98 mph prior to injury. Four-seamer has some sink and arm-side run. Subpar control.

Slider: 87-91 mph hard slider with 12-to-6 movement. Uses the pitch about 50% of the time.
  Career Notes: Pitched for Yarmouth-Dennis in the Cape League in 2013. Had inconistent success with Seattle through 2020. Traded to San Diego in a multi-player deal in August 2020. Had Tommy John surgery on June 29, 2021. Signed a two-year minor league deal with Boston in March 2022, with the intent that he would rehab for much of the beginning of the contract. Received a non-roster invitation to MLB spring training in 2023. Began 2023 season on the Triple-A injured list with elbow soreness. Spent a month on a rehab assignment in the FCL and Greenville before being released.

Summation: Big fastball/slider combo. Ceiling of a mid-leverage bullpen arm if he comes back healthy. Control has been an issue in the past.
