Physical Description: Average
frame. Has the frame to add strength as he matures, but not
overly projectable. Average athlete.
Hit:
Starts open and has a quiet load. Abbreviated leg lift timing
device. Active, quick hands. Smooth, line drive-oriented swing.
Keeps the barrel in the zone a long time. Strong feel for
contact and barrel control. Makes a lot of hard contact.
Approach needs refinement and can get overly aggressive.
Struggles to recognize spin right now, but has performed well
against changeups, showing he is able to adjust to secondary
offerings. Potential average hit tool.
Power:
Average raw power. Not a major part of his game at this point,
but does produce high-end exit velocities for his age. Needs to
add strength to tap into his power and learn to drive the ball
in the air more. Swing is more designed for line drives in the
gaps than over-the-fence power. Fringe-average power potential.
Run: Fringe-average speed. Not a burner,
but can go first-to-third on a single and use his instincts to
steal some bases.
Field: Smooth actions
and soft hands. Has shown solid range and is comfortable playing
all angles when charging the ball. Confident fielder who can
make difficult plays look closer to routine. Scouts have mixed
opinions on whether he can stick at shortstop long-term.
Potential above-average defender at second and average defender
at shortstop.

Arm: Average-to-above-average arm strength.
Capable of making all the throws from shortstop.
Career Notes: Received the second-highest bonus in the
Red Sox 2023 IFA class. Seen as a glove-first shortstop when he
signed, surprised the organization with strong underlying batted
ball data in his pro debut. Played in 2024 Spring Breakout game.
Received glowing reports from scouts who saw him in the Florida
Complex League in 2024, where he was named the circuit’s top
prospect. Entered 2025 ranked on multiple top 100 prospect
lists. Played in the 2025 Spring Breakout and Futures at Fenway
South games.
Summation: Potential
utility infielder who contributes across the board. Ceiling of
an everyday middle infielder who provides value with his glove
and contact ability. Lacks a carrying tool, but could be
averageish in all but speed. Wide gap between what he is now and
what he could be, but shows a solid base of skills to build
upon. High baseball IQ; actively seeks to learn more and
improve. Needs to physically mature to reach his potential, but
has the type of frame that can support added weight. Prospect
stock soared in 2024, but could stand to improve his physicality
in order to truly establish himself as a top prospect in the
system.
