Physical Description: Strong, athletic build, minimal remaining
projection.
Hit: Starts vertical and open with his hands
high. Leg kick timing device. Rhythmic swing. Average bat speed.
Patient approach. Sees a lot of pitches and has a solid chase
rate. Makes a lot of contact, especially against fastballs. Had
some trouble with velocity in 2025. Proficient against spin, but
has struggled against changeups. Simplifies swing with two
strikes. Crouches down some and closes his stance off. With two
strikes, uses a toe tap timing device and shortens swing
noticeably.
Power: Average raw power. Strong batted ball
angles. Can elevate the ball to the pull side where his power
plays best.
Run: Below-average speed. Not a major part of
his game.
Field: Has played both catcher and first base
in pro ball. Looks the part of a catcher and moves well behind
the plate.

Arm: Below-average arm strength. Quick
release, but throws lack zip and carry.
Career Notes:
Acquired by the Red Sox in January 2026 from Minnesota for
infielder Tristan Gray.
Summation: Right-handed hitting
infielder with intriguing underlying data. Strong contact skills
and a little bit of power. Offensive profile could play if he
can show he can stick at catcher long-term, which is not a
certainty right now.
