Scouting Report: Solid frame with minimal remaining projection. Fluid left-handed swing with natural lift. Has shown feel for hit, strong plate discipline skills, and some raw power. Missed most of the 2018 season due to a knee injury, and was only just coming back from a hamstring injury when the 2020 season was cancelled. Goes by his middle name, which he was given after Cuba Gooding Jr. after parents watched Boyz n the Hood. Father, Johnny, was drafted by Cincinnati and made it as high as Triple-A as a switch-hitting utility player.
