Physical Description: Medium
athletic frame. Filled out in the lower half, has some limited
remaining projection in his upper body.
Mechanics:
High 3/4 delivery, starts on the first base side and steps in
that direction before windup. Clean mechanics. Pronounced
recoiling leg lift. Stays balanced. Below-average control and
command.
Fastball: 94-96 mph for-seamer, tops out at 99
mph with effort. Plus pitch with vertical movement from a low
release point. Also has a cutter that is a work in progress.
Slider: 84-85 mph with consistent release
point. Potential plus pitch.

Fringe-average mid-80s show-me offering.
Career
Notes: Transferred from Arkansas to Texas Tech after
shoulder surgery. Third round pick by the Reds in 2020. Missed
2023 season with rotator cuff injury. Released in March 2024 and
signed by Boston.
Summation: Low-risk, high reward signing.
Had two plus pitches prior to rotator cuff injury, but command
and control were always a concern.
