Physical Description: Average
frame. Limited remaining projection in his upper body.
Mechanics: Throws from a three-quarters arm
slot. Pitches from the stretch only. Jerky mechanics can make
hitters uncomfortable. Long arm swing behind. Cross-fire
delivery. Quick forward. Elite extension and low release height.
Fastball: 90-92 mph. Tops out at 94
mph. Pitch shows life up in the zone, but is hittable down.
Command and control are inconsistent and will come and go. Hard
pitch to square up. Does not throw very frequently. Potential
average offering.
Changeup: 77-81 mph.
Straight change with late fade. Solid separation from his
fastball and complements it well, but will slow his delivery at
times and telegraph the pitch. Potential fringe-average
offering.
Slider: 84-87 mph. Short,
cutterish shape. Primarily throws early in the count to get
ahead or generate weak contact. Potential fringe-average
offering.
Sweeper: 79-82 mph. Long,
sweepy, 10-to-4 break. Inconsistent shape and does not always
snap it off. Lacks depth at times. Below-average potential. |

Career Notes: Older brother, Sam, was drafted
by the Mariners in 2017 and spent 2024 in the Brewers
organization after signing as a minor league free agent. Was
more highly regarded as a draft prospect coming out of high
school in Minnesota than as a college junior.
Summation: Potential organizational reliever. Ceiling
of an emergency up-and-down depth reliever. Fastball plays above
its velocity when he commands it, but secondary offerings lag
behind and he lacks an average-or-better out pitch. Changeup
will flash bat-missing ability on occasion, but he will also
telegraph the pitch, making it hittable when he leaves it up.
Fringy velocity holds down projection, but has some traits teams
look for that make him a more interesting bullpen prospect than
one might expect with his arsenal.
