Physical Description:
Athletic, average frame. Moves well. Minimal remaining
projection.
Mechanics: Throws from a
sidearm arm slot. No wind-up. Slings the ball. Medium leg kick.
Drop-and-drive delivery. Short arm action back. Athletic
delivery that he repeats well. Short stride with low extension
numbers. Gives a unique look to hitters.
Fastball: 88-90 mph. Tops out at 91 mph. Throws a lot
of strikes and competitive pitches. Strong command and control
profile. Easy to elevate given his arm slot and has had issues
with allowing home runs. Potential below-average offering.
Changeup: 77-79 mph. Good separation from
his fastball. Shows late, vertical drop. Primarily used against
left-handed hitters. Solid feel and has confidence in the pitch.
Will start at-bats with it and throw in any count. Potential
above-average offering.
Curveball:
73-75 mph. Sweepy shape for the most part, but does vary at
times. Some are more lateral, others more vertical. Relied more
on the pitch in 2024, especially against righties. Potential
fringe-average offering.

Slider: 81-83 mph. Short, horizontal break. Can
look cutterish at times. Not a bat-missing pitch, more designed
to generate weak contact. Potential fringe-average offering.
Career Notes: Two-way player in college who
was the Summit League Player of the Year in 2021. Was set to
participate in the 2022 Fall Performance Program that was
canceled due to Hurricane Ian. Participated in the 2023 Fall
Performance Program.
Summation:
Potential solid organizational depth arm. Ceiling of an
up-and-down, deception-based reliever. Throws strikes with a
four-pitch mix and comes from a deceptive arm slot with an
athletic delivery, but lack of velocity limits upside. Type of
player who may have success in the low minors due to combination
of pitch mix, command-and-control profile, and unique look/arm
slot, but will face a much tougher test in the high minors
against more mature hitters.
