Physical Description:
Mid-sized right-hander with no remaining projection. Filled-out
lower half.
Mechanics: Over-the-top
delivery. Medium leg kick with slight crouching action. Clean
mechanics, but does put moderate effort on his arm.
Fastball: 92-94 mph four-seamer. Utilizes the
pitch close to 50% of the time. Has some sink and armside run.
Slider: 85-88 mph. Hard 12-to-6
movement.
Changeup: 86-88 mph with some
sink. Induces grounders. Best secondary, could be utilized more.
Curveball: Show-me 78-82 mph curveball only
used about 5% of the time.

Career
Notes: Drafted three times. Attended Southern MNevada
before transferrign to BYU. Did not play in 2009-2010 while on
his Mormon Mission. Spring Training invitee with Toronto in
2016, made his debut in August 2017. Pitched two innings of a
combined no-hitter with the Angels in July 2019. Underwent
shoulder surgery in August 2020. NRI for Boston in 2022.
Summation: Triple-A depth and insurance,
could come back after hiatus and prove to be a workable middle
reliever at the MLB level.
