Scouting Report: Max-effort delivery. Throws from the stretch, utilizing a three-quarters arm slot. Fastball sits 92-94 mph, topping out at 95. Primary breaking pitch is a slier at 82-84 mph with big break away from right-handed hitters. Will also mix in a changeup in the high-80s, but it is a clear third pitch. Had Tommy John surgery in April 2016 before coming to the Red Sox as a minor league Rule 5 pick. Has continued to have significant injury issues, missing the first half of 2018 with an undisclosed injury.
