Strong, physical frame. Little physical projection remaining.
Hit: Starts vertical and square with his
hands high. Leg lift timing device. Quick wrists but swing path
is not fluid. Short swing path, direct to the ball.
Below-average approach. Strikes out at a very high rate.
Power: Above-average raw power. Hits the ball hard
when he makes contact, but lack of consistent contact ability
means his power is unlikely to actualize.
Run:
Average speed. Moves well for his size.
Field:
Below-average defensive player in right field and left field.
Can play center field and first base in a pinch.
Arm: Above-average arm strength. |

Career Notes:
Born in the Dominican Republic, moved to New Jersey at age 11, at
which point he began playing baseball. Played seven seasons in
the Reds' organization before signing a minor league deal with
the Cubs for the 2022 season, during which he made his MLB
debut. Signed a minor league contract with Boston with an
invitation to 2023 Major League Spring Training.
Summation: Organizational depth player. Unlikely to
hold down a consistent 40-man spot, but has the potential to be
an emergency corner outfielder in an injury situation. Lack of
contact skills limits upside. Said to be a fantastic clubhouse
presence and a very well-liked player.
