Physical Description:
Athletic, medium frame. Minimal remaining projection.
Mechanics: Throws from a three-quarters arm
slot. Starts on the third base side of the rubber. No wind-up.
Medium-high leg kick with slight trunk twist. Long arm action
with loop and stab behind. Quick arm. Low release height. Good
extension. Crossfire delivery. Inconsistent mechanics that he
struggles to repeat the deeper he works into outings. Has the
tendency to lose his release point and miss up and out of the
zone.
Fastball: 92-95 mph. Tops out at
96 mph. Pitch shows life up in the zone, especially early in
outings. Struggles with command, especially to the glove side.
Velocity tends to fall off as he works deeper into outings.
Potential above-average offering with refined command.
Slider: 83-88 mph. Short, horizontal, cutterish
shape at higher velocities. Looks more like a true slider at
lower velocities with additional depth. Needs to find more
consistency with it. At its best, has tight rotation with
two-plane movement. Potential solid-average offering.
Sweeper: 75-77 mph. Pitch shows two-plane
movement and long, sweepy break. Inconsistent and struggles to
land for strikes at times. Will flash fringe-average potential.

Changeup: 82-85 mph. Rarely threw in college,
but has started to incorporate more in pro ball. Will flash fade
and drop, but at other times is not competitive. Lacks
consistent feel. Fringe-average potential.
Career
Notes: Had nerve relocation surgery in the summer of
2021. Played in the Cape Cod League in 2022. Was set to
participate in the 2022 Fall Performance Program that was
canceled due to Hurricane Ian.
Summation:
Potential up-and-down emergency depth reliever. Ceiling of a
middle reliever. Currently working as a starter, but is best
suited for a relief role long-term. High-variance arm with a
wide range of outcomes given that delivery and command and
control are works in progress. Will show major league-quality
stuff at his best, but also will have outings where he struggles
to throw strikes. Fastball and slider show bat-missing
potential, but lacks consistency from outing to outing and even
within outings, especially as he works deeper into games. Stuff
could take off if moved to a short relief role, as he showed
more velocity in college in short bursts.
