Physical Description: Strong, physical frame.
Advanced size for his age, heavier than listed. Thick lower
half, prototypical pitcher's frame. Still has even more room to
grow as he matures. Surprisingly athletic and moves extremely
well for his size.
Mechanics: Starts on
the first base side of the rubber and throws from a
three-quarters arm slot. Controlled, smooth delivery. High leg
kick. Loose, quick arm. Arm comes through clean and does a good
job repeating his delivery.
Fastball:
Low-90s, tops out at 94 mph. Has considerable room to add
velocity. Already shows solid feel for control.
Secondaries: Primarily relies on his changeup and
curveball. Changeup has shown bat-missing ability already and
has considerable potential. Curveball also shows potential with
long, 11-to-5 break. At its best, curve shows tight rotation and
depth, and he has shown the ability to bury down and away from
right-handed hitters. Also throws a slider. |

Career Notes: Received the largest bonus of any
pitcher in the Red Sox 2025 IFA class. Displayed significant
potential when signing, potentially the best for any Red Sox IFA
pitcher in recent history at the time.
Summation:
High-upside arm who already shows three usable pitches and a
starter's frame. Confident on the mound and battles. Competitive
and stuff stands out for his age. Four-pitch mix already, but
fastball, changeup, and curveball stand out. Both changeup and
curveball show considerable potential. Type of arm that could be
a slow burn, but has considerable upside.

This page will be updated with a scouting report after the
scouting team has seen the player in person.
