Physical Description:
Slightly under-sized, athletic left-hander. Seemingly filled-out
throughout.
Mechanics: Throws from a
three-quarters arm slot from the third base side of the rubber. Athletic,
compact, methodical delivery. Stays closed off in his delivery, showing
his back to the hitter, and repeats well.
Fastball:
89-91 mph. Shows arm-side run and sink. Generates lots of ground balls.
Velocity drops as he works deeper into games. Lacks plane due to height.
Curveball: 73-76 mph. Will show tight 1-to-7 rotation
when he finishes his delivery and snaps it off. Can throw for strikes in
early in counts. Potential average pitch.
Changeup: 79-82 mph. Decent feel and deceptive arm speed. Ability
to throw for strikes in any count. Average fade and movement.

Slider:
79-80 mph. Average tilt and will throw in any count.
Career Notes: Missed 2015 with a knee injury.
Reportedly threw just as hard with either arm when he signed.
Summation: Potential Quad-A type starter. Ceiling of an
up-and-down emergency starter. Lacks projection physically. Average
stuff across the board with the ability to command and control all pitches
and throw for strikes in any count. Advanced pitchability and sequencing. Lacks
a put-away pitch to profile out of the pen.
