Physical Description:
Athletic, projectable frame. One of
the better athletes in the system. Needs to add strength, but is
now on the older side for an IFA still trying to establish
himself in Low-A.
Hit: Starts open and
vertical with his hands high. Short leg lift timing device. Has
above-average bat speed but is very raw at the plate. Lacks feel
for spin and struggles to make consistent contact. When he does
make contact, it is often of low quality. Needs to improve swing
decisions and overall approach.
Power:
When he elevates the ball, will show average raw power, but
struggles to do so in games. Power is primarily to the pull
side.
Run: Plus speed. Instincts are a
work in progress.
Field: Has the
athleticism to stick up the middle, but still learning the
nuances of playing center field. Reads and first step are a work
in progress, but has the speed and range to make up for
mistakes.

Arm:
Above-average arm strength.
Career Notes: Was considered the
best pure athlete in the Red Sox 2019-20 international class.
Trained as a shortstop but moved to the outfield after signing.
Summation: Potential low minors depth
player. Ceiling of a high-minors bench type. Very raw, athletic
player, but is now well behind the development curve having
signed in 2019 and still having been unable to establish himself
at a full-season affiliate. Needs to take a step forward with
his approach and instincts in order to get out of the low
minors. Has the athleticism such that something could click at
any time, and will show flashes of an interesting player, but is
really running out of time to turn potential into on-field
performance.
