Physical Description: Tall,
medium frame. Minimal remaining projection. Fringy athlete.
Hit: Starts square and upright with his
hands high. Utilizes a leg kick timing device. Pronounced weight
transfer and average bat speed. Swing is long and he likes to
get extended. Takes a big swing and is late on good velocity.
Agressive. Still in the early stages of developing his approach.
Will expand the zone. Struggles against high velocity. Has the
tendency to swing down on the ball and makes a lot of contact on
the ground. Below-average hit tool.
Power:
Above-average raw power. Strength-based power profile. Elite
exit velocities. Needs to
elevate the ball a lot more and find consistency with his hit
tool in order to tap into his raw power.
Run:
Below-average speed.
Field: Has played
both infield corners. Unlikely to be a standout defender,
projecting as a fringe-average defender at first base who can be
passable at third. Average hands and range. Is a little stiff
and unathletic in the field, but will usually make the routine
plays. |

Arm: Plus arm strength. Capable of making the
throw from deep in the hole at third.
Career
Notes: Signed Boston's second-biggest bonus of the
January 15, 2022 IFA class. Trained with Pedro "Nube" Nivar, a
member of MLB's Trainer Partnership Program. Was set to
participate in the 2022 Fall Performance Program that was
canceled due to Hurricane Ian. Was limited to just eight games
in 2023 due to a back injury.
Summation:
Potential high minors depth player. Has good size and
intriguing raw power, but has struggled to make contact and
elevate the ball. Does not project to add
much value on defense, so he needs to improve his offensive
profile in order to continue to progress through the system.
Reportedly possesses strong makeup, a clubhouse leader with an
affable personality. Good baseball acumen.
