Physical Description: Athletic, skinny
right-hander with remaining projection.
Mechanics: Throws from a three-quarters arm slot.
Throws from the stretch at all times, but with a significant leg
kick in which his knee gets up to the height of his head with
the bases empty. Quick
arm. Violent, arm-heavy delivery with recoil. Short stride to the plate.
Fastball: 91-93 mph. Tops out at 95 mph.
Still working on finding command and control.
Curveball: 79-81 mph. Tight, 11-to-5 shape. Lacks
depth. Does not get over it consistently and will yank it to the
glove side often.
Changeup: 84-85 mph.
On the firm side, but has come down a couple miles per hour
since signing. Looks like a two-seam fastball at times. |

Career Notes: Grew up in the Dominican
Republic, but moved to the United States and went to high school
in Brighton, Mass. Drafted by the Marlins in the 21st round of
the 2019 draft. Played primarily shortstop in final season at
Western Oklahoma State College, making only four appearances on
the mound, but Boston signed him as a pitcher. Named to the
NJCAA Division II Region 2 All-Conference team and Plains
District All-Tournament team. Made it to the NJCAA Division II
finals before losing in the final. Was committed to Oklahoma
State. Participated in the Fall Performance Program in 2021.
Summation: Potential low-minors depth arm.
Athletic and is relatively new to pitching at higher levels.
Needs to develop as a pitcher, more of a thrower at this point.
