Scouting Report:
Very athletic switch-hitter who moved from shortstop to center
field in pro ball. Needs to get significantly stronger. Top-tier
athlete who can really run. Contact is well ahead of power at
this point and there are questions about how much power he will
be able to tap into, but has the athleticism to overcome any
deficiencies in that area. Solid knowledge of
the strike zone, willingness to take a walk. Below-average
bat-to-ball skills, will swing and miss at a low of pitches in
the zone. Swing lacks lift. Has taken very
quickly to center field and has a chance to be a solid defender
there at a minimum. High-variance prospect due to lack of
physicality, but has some interesting tools that could continue
to improve as he physically matures. |
