Scouting Report:
Imposing 6-foot-6 southpaw with an intriguing, projectable
frame. Only began pitching a couple of years before college. Had
a five-inch growth spurt late in high school. Generates
excellent downhill leverage, delivering a two-pitch mix led by a
mid-90s fastball with plus potential and a sharp, high-spin
slider. Command and control still require refinement,
particularly in cleaning up mechanics to consistently repeat his
release point. Transferred from Shoreline CC to Southern Nevada
before landing at Grand Canyon for his junior year. Was
committed to transfer again to Oregon.
