Physical Description: Large, filled out frame.
Substantially heavier than his listed weight of 170 pounds. No
remaining projection.
Mechanics: Throws
from a low three-quarters arm slot starting on the first base
side of the rubber. Slings the ball with an effortful delivery.
Long arm action with a lot of moving parts. Medium-high leg
kick. Drop-and-drive delivery with a slight trunk twist before
coming forward. Lands stiff on his front side.
Fastball: 94-96 mph. Sinking fastball with arm-side
run. Below-average command and control. Struggles to miss bats.
Primarily designed to get weak contact on the ground. Potential
average offering.
Slider: 85-87 mph.
Short, two-plane shape primarily. Inconsistent and struggles to
land in the zone. Will flash bat-missing ability when he snaps
it off. Potential fringe-average offering. |

Changeup: 88-90 mph. Firm, two-seamish-looking
pitch for the most part. Lacks feel and ability to throw it for
strikes. Will show drop on occasion. Potential below-average
offering.
Career Notes: Selected by the
Red Sox in the second round of the minor league phase of the
2024 Rule 5 Draft.
Summation: Potential
mid-minors depth arm. Sturdy frame and has good velocity, but
struggles to throw strikes and lacks a consistent secondary
pitch. Fastball is best offering and will mix in both a slider
and changeup, but both need substantial refinement.
