Physical Description: Large frame, soft body. Thick lower
half. Heavier than listed, no remaining projection.
Mechanics: Throws over the top. Stiff, arm heavy delivery. Throws
from the stretch only. High leg kick, long arm action. Shows behind, arm
swing. Pitches downhill.
Fastball: 90-92 mph.
Tops out at 94 mph. Needs to improve command and control.
Curveball: 76-78 mph. 12-6 shape. Shows arm, tends to cast pitch.
Changeup: 86-87 mph. Firm, lacks feel and
movement. Work in progress.
Career Notes: Signed
out of the Dominican in 2014 at age 17. Spent 3 seasons in the complex
leagues . Has played in the Venezuelan Development Program in the
off-season.
Summation: Projects as a minor league
depth reliever. Will struggle against more advanced hitters due to lack of
command and secondary stuff.
