Physical Description: Small
athletic frame. Has room to add to his frame, even in his late
20s.
Mechanics: Full wind-up. High 3/4
delivery, starting on the third base side. High leg kick. Gets
good extension, clean mechanics. Passable command and control.
Mixes pitches well, good presence.
Fastball:
94-97 mph four-seamer, generates swing strikes. Loses velo
quickly. 88-91 mph cutter has heavy sink.
Slider:
78-85 mph with sweeping two-plane movement. Has some deception
at release point, not discernible from his fastball or cutter.

Changeup: 84-87 mph with inconsistent sinking
action. Currently a below-average to fringe-average show me
pitch.
Career Notes:
Drafted by Cleveland in 2012 but did not sign. Was the Big West
Pitcher of the Year as a freshman in 2012. Had Tommy John
surgery in 2015. Designated for assignment by the Angels in April 2023, claimed by
the Red Sox.
Summation: Emergency
up-and-down reliever with MLB experience. Solid four-pitch mix,
could get an extended call-up as a multi-inning reliever.
