  Scouting Report & Links      
         
  Physical Description: Stocky catcher's build with minimal remaining projection. Sturdy lower half, able to withstand the rigors of catching.

Hit: Starts open with his hands high. Loud hands pre-pitch. Pronounced leg kick timing device. Shortens up swing and goes to a toe-tap with two strikes. Average bat speed, utilizes his lower half in swing. Inconsistent contact skills, especially against fastballs. Recognizes secondaries. Solid plate discipline and chase rates.

Power: Average raw power. Power plays better to the pull side. Produces solid exit velocities.

Run: Well below-average speed. Not a stolen base threat.

Field: Strong defensive profile. Agile behind the plate and moves well laterally. Adept at blocking balls in the dirt. Solid receiver.

Arm: Plus-to-better arm strength. Pop times consistently under 1.9 seconds.		   Career Notes: Started his college career at Boston College, before transferring to Arizona for his final two years of college. Played on the Cape Cod League for Bourne after his freshman and sophomore seasons. Had a breakout junior season where he hit .328/.411/.496. Was selected by the Pirates in the 5th round and signed for a slot bonus. Made his professional debut in September, hitting a home run in his first game. Acquired by the Red Sox in December 2025 along with Johan Oviedo and Tyler Samaniego for Jhostynxon Garcia and Jesus Travieso.

Summation: Intriguing catching prospect with a defense first profile. Has the type of defensive ability that could carry him to the high minors in short order. Upside will be determined by how much he hits.
