Physical Description: Large
frame, physically maxed out.
Mechanics:
3/4 delivery starting from the first base side. Low leg kick.
Gets some recoil, fairly effortful mechanics. Marginal control.
Fastball: 93-95 mph sinker with straight
downward sink. Uses the pitch
about 60% of the time. Rarely-used 95-97 mph four-seamer.
Slider: 83-86 mph with sweeping action.

Career
Notes: Showed marginal success as a middle reliever in
the Pittsburgh system from 2016 to 2020. Claimed by the Mets in
mid 2021, then by the Red Sox two months later. Received a
non-roster invitation to MLB spring training in 2022. Started a
handful of bullpen games in 2022, but always worked in a true
relief role.
Summation: Bullpen arm with major league
experience. Emergency up-and-down arm or Triple-A insurance.
