Physical Description: Tall, lanky frame. Long
levers. Still has some room to fill out.
Mechanics: Throws from a three-quarters arm slot
starting on the first base side of the rubber. Rhythmic,
effortful delivery. Medium-high leg kick which he tucks in
between his lead arm and throwing arm. Short, jerky arm action.
Deceptive delivery. Hides the ball well behind. Falls off to the
first base side. Quick arm that will get out ahead of his
delivery at times.
Fastball: 92-94 mph.
Tops out at 96 mph. Shows life up in the zone and bat-missing
ability. Solid command and control profile. Comfortable pitching
at the top of the strike zone. Pitch is hard to square up.
Potential plus offering.
Slider: 83-87
mph. Two-plane shape with depth. Primary secondary offering.
Throws often. Inconsistent feel. Will hang more than you would
like. Potential below-average offering.
Curveball: 79-82 mph. Short, vertical break. More depth
than tilt. Will flash bat-missing ability on occasion, but
ability to land in the strike zone is inconsistent. Potential
below-average offering. |

Changeup: 84-87 mph. Two-seamish action. Work
in progress. Will throw a couple decent ones per outing and the
rest are firm and not competitive. At its best it will show some
drop. Tends to slow arm to get action on it. Potential
below-average offering.
Career Notes:
Did not pitch for Milwaukee after being drafted in 2024.
Acquired as the player to be named later in the Quinn Priester trade.
Summation: Potential up-and-down reliever.
Ceiling of a middle reliever. Intriguing right-hander with a
quality fastball and deceptive delivery, but secondary pitches
lag way behind. Will initially be developed as a starter, but
unlikely to stick there long-term. Has shown bat-missing ability
with his fastball and could become an intriguing bullpen arm
should the team move him out of the rotation where there would
be less pressure on his secondary pitches to develop.
