Physical Description: Large frame. Soft body. Thick lower
half with minimal remaining projection.
Mechanics: Throws from a low three-quarters arm slot from
the first base side. Begins facing the third base dugout, then
steps toward first to start delivery. No wind-up, medium leg
kick. Lots of moving parts. Long arm swing behind. Arm-heavy
delivery.
Fastball: 90-93 mph. Tops out
at 94. Primarily throws a sinker that shows hard, boring action
and elicits plenty of groundballs. Command is well below-average
and needs to improve. Struggles to miss bats with it. Potential
below-average pitch.
Slider: 81-85 mph.
Slurvy with long, horizontal shape. Lacks feel and consistency.
Potential fringe-average offering. |

Changeup:
87-89 mph. Firm pitch that looks like
a fastball he took something off of. Lacks movement and feel.
Work in progress. Did not throw in outing scouted in 2023. Potential well below-average offering.
Career Notes: Participated in 2020 Fall
Instructional League. Participated in the Fall Performance
Program in 2021. Worked as a starter/piggyback reliever until
moving into more of a traditional bullpen role in 2023.
Summation: Potential mid-minors depth reliever.
Limited upside.
Sinker can get groundballs, particularly in the low minors,
but lacks an effective secondary offering. Raw and more of a
thrower with limited feel. Has a ways to go developmentally and
has to drastically improve his command and secondary offerings
in order to push towards the high minors.
