Physical Description: Tall,
wiry frame. Long limbs. Minimal remaining projection.
Mechanics: Throws from a sidearm arm slot.
Starts on the first base side of the rubber and slings the ball
from a low slot. Repeats delivery well. Very difficult mechanics
for left-handed hitters to pick up.
Fastball:
90-92 mph, tops out at 93 mph. Average command and control
profile. Does a good job using the pitch to get ahead, then relies on getting whiffs or generating weak contact on pitches
out of the zone after that. Pitch shows sink down in the zone.
Breaking Ball: 79-82 mph.
Slurvy breaking ball with long, horizontal shape. Lacks tilt, but
has substantial horizontal movement. Very difficult for
left-handed hitters to hit when combined with his arm slot.

Career Notes: Dropped his arm
slot during his junior year of college. Was selected by the Red
Sox in the first round of the minor league phase of the 2022 Rule 5 Draft.
Summation: Potential organizational relief
arm. Ceiling of an up-and-down left-handed specialist. Has been
extremely effective against left-handed hitters throughout his
career, which gives him a chance to reach the big leagues. Lacks
a pitch to get right-handed hitters out and has struggled to get
them out during his minor league career.
