Physical Description: Medium,
athletic frame. Filled-out, strong, physical build. Minimal
remaining projection.
Mechanics: Throws
from a low three-quarters arm slot, starting on the first base
side of the rubber. Max-effort delivery. Starts with his back to
the hitter and front side facing the third base dugout. High leg
kick that he tucks behind his lead arm. Long arm action and then
comes across his body. Head whack. Falls off hard to the first
base side. Shortens leg kick from the stretch.
Fastball: 94-96 mph. Has topped out at 99 mph in the
past, but has not shown that velocity in 2025. Throws both a
four-seam and a sinker. Uses the four-seam mostly with
left-handed hitters, but will throw it up in the zone to hitters
from both sides. Primarily uses the sinker to throw inside to
right-handed hitters. Command and control are works in progress.
Has the tendency to yank the pitch and miss glove-side.
Potential average offering.
Cutter:
90-93 mph. Short, horizontal break. Throws frequently,
especially early in counts. Designed to get ahead and generate
weak contact. Potential fringe-average offering.
Slider: 84-86 mph. True slider with two-plane break.
Inconsistent shape, but flashes bat-missing ability.
Fringe-average potential.

Sweeper: 79-81 mph. Long, horizontal break. Able to
land in the zone or bury down and away, out of the zone. Changed
grip on the pitch late in the 2024 season. Potential average
offering.
Changeup: 85-87 mph. Firm, two-seamish shape.
Shows sink on occasion. Inconsistent, struggles to land in the
zone, with most not competitive. Potential below-average
offering.
Career Notes: Played in the
MLB Draft League in 2023 after his final year at Rider. Was not
drafted and spent the next year revamping his arsenal at Tread
Athletics while acting as a volunteer coach at Rider. Increased
his max velocity from 95 mph in college to 97-98 mph after
graduating. Signed with the independent Indy Ballers in 2024,
but continued to work out at Tread and signed with Boston in
April 2024 before playing in any independent games.
Summation: Potential organizational depth arm.
Ceiling of an emergency up-and-down, multi-inning reliever.
Fastball, cutter, and sweeper all will flash bat-missing
ability, but needs to refine command and control and find more
consistency with his higher-octane arsenal. Lacks a go-to out
pitch, though his sweeper looks like it could get there.
Velocity gains shown during the 2024-25 offseason have not held.
Pitches backwards often.
