Physical Description:
Small-framed athletic backstop. No remaining projection.
Hit:
Below-average bat. Strikeout prone, does not impact the baseball.
Power: Below-average game
power. Has some raw power but does not translate to games due to
subpar contact rates.
Run:
Below-average speed. Not a threat on the basepaths.
Field: Plus defender. Excellent game caller, knows how to
handle a pitching staff. Solid blocking skills. Moves well
behind the dish.
Arm: Above-average to
plus arm, throws out baserunners. |

Career Notes:
Played a backup role at Florida for two years before starting
his junior season. Impressed defensively in the Reds, Orioles,
and Twins systems but never made significant improvements with
the bat. Spent 2024 as a backup catcher in Worcester moving on
and off the development list. Re-signed with the organization in
January 2025 with an invitation to MLB Spring Training.
Summation:
Triple-A depth catcher whose value comes from his strong defense
and work with the pitching staff rather than in-game or
in-lineup contributions. Type of player every organization
needs.
