Scouting Report:
Sturdy, physically mature frame with minimal remaining
projection. Features a highly
repeatable delivery characterized by exceptional down-mound
extension, allowing his velocity to sneak up on hitters and play
up. His arsenal centers around a heavy,
low-90s fastball that tops out at 95 mph with intriguing
traits, which he pairs with an effective low-80s
slider/cutter hybrid. Also throws a developing
changeup and a sweeper. Previously threw an upper-70s curveball
that he shelved to focus on developing the changeup. Popped as a true freshman
in 2024, capturing the Pitcher of the Year and Freshman of the Year
awards for the Western Athletic Conference.
