Physical Description: Tall pitcher’s frame with some
projection remaining.
Mechanics: Throws from a
low three-quarters arm slot starting on the first base side of the
rubber. Jerky delivery with effort. Throws across body with
inconsistent release point.
Fastball: 92-94
mph. Pitch shows average life.
Curveball:
72-75 mph. Pitch shows 11-5 break. Long, loopy offering that he
doesn’t consistently snap off.
Changeup: 84
mph. Firm pitch with minimal feel. Work in progress.
Slider: 84-87 mph. Horizontal break.
Career
Notes: Participated in the Fall Instructional League in 2016
and 2018.
Summation: Right-hander has a solid pitcher’s
frame and fastball velocity. Rest of arsenal needs improvement. Lacks
feel for secondary pitches. Will need to show significant improvement
to be considered more than a low minors arm. |
